In November 2015, our search for a suitable overlandtruck comes to an end when we stumble upon this great little truck . One tough cookie like this deserves a real girly-girly name, no? So we call her: Daisy!
The interior is not quite suitable for travelling with two big dogs… and of course they also should be able to lay down comfortable and safe.
So everything has to be stripped for a complete makeover.
Uh-oh… Daisy clearly has seen a lot of desertsand during her life. Buckets of muddy water are being poured away by the dozens.
Drawing groundplans, making calculations, thinking and reconsidering… eventually it seems best when the dogs are in the back. So in good spirits we start building…
With a very cold trip to come, a good functioning heater is of great importance. The hot air will be blown directly on our feet: yihaa!
An extra layer of cork to obtain more insulation.
And luckily we can always count on professional help for custom cutting the vinyl floor 😉
And the result is not too bad!
Time to attack the outside and add a personal touch.
Hihi, Daisy becomes a real Doggy-car.
